Gregory J. Sawko
Mr. Sawko began his practice of law in Denton Texas in 1989 and formed the law firm of Sawko & Burroughs, LLP with Mr. Mark Burroughs in 1994. The firm name changed in 2008 to the Sawko & Burroughs, P.C. Since the mid-90′s, Mr. Sawko has primarily practiced in commercial banking and commercial construction collection, business litigation law, property tax collections law, mass commercial collections law, personal injury law both Plaintiff and Defense and civil trial litigation. Mr. Sawko is a member of the Denton County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and former member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Mr. Sawko is married with two children and attends St. Marks Catholic Church.
EDUCATION
Greg Sawko received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Management from St. Mary’s University with honors in 1986 and his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1989.

Mr. Sawko is licensed to practice in all Texas Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the Texas Supreme Court.

Mr. Sawko is extremely active in his community and has held leadership roles in the many of the organizations that he has been a member. Some of those organizations Mr. Sawko has maintained a leadership role in, include: Denton Noon Kiwanis, United Way of Denton County, Save Our Shield, Traffic and Safety Commission, Leadership Denton, and Denton Chamber of Commerce.
