Gregory J. Sawko along with several other community volunteers started a motorcycle event to provide Kids in Denton County with winter Coats.

The Coats for Kids Ride, Inc. was formed out of a simple idea, “Kids should not be worry about being cold for lack of a coat”.

The first ride is scheduled for Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 2:30pm. The ride will begin at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Lewisville Texas and end at the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Denton, Texas. The approximate distance of the ride is 19.5 miles.

Riders must bring a Coat for a Kid ages 5-12 years old as the entry fee. There will be a 50/50 raffle with prizes. All funds raised will be used to buy additional coats for kids. Go to Coatsforkidsride.com for more details.
